The park is located in Trenton, NJ, with the main entrance being on Parkside Avenue. The Park is bordered by Parkside Avenue, West State Street, Stuyvesant Avenue and Cadwalader Drive, and encompasses over 100 acres.

The park is easily accessed from I95, Route 29, Route 31, and Route 1 as well as I 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
