I remember going to the park as a child seeing the monkeys in the monkey house. Watching the ducks in the water, feeding the animals, swinging on the swings, the merry go round.
Having cookouts. Birthday parties! The stage on the weekends and performing African Dance myself. As a teen & adult walking to the park from home on Sundays, meeting in the park to see the cars riding by and listening to the different music that was playing.
Watching the basketball games during the week, a highlight watching the baseball games and kids playing T-ball. Watching the adults play kick soccer, playing tennis on the courts. Playing cards and just enjoying family and friends from all over Trenton.
